An Introduction to the NeoReviews Online CME System

1. Take the journal quizzes online.
2. Receive instant feedback on the answers selected.
3. Jump to sections of the source article that contain the preferred response.
4. Submit completed issues for CME credit and receive confirmation of credit immediately via email.
5. Review credit they've earned in an individualized CME Summary Report.

Important Notes:

• An entire issue must be completed before subscribers can submit quizzes for credit. There is no article-by-article credit.
• This service is only available to subscribers. If you wish to subscribe, please click here.
• Users will have access to only those years for which they have subscribed.

Benefits of the NeoReviews Online CME System

The benefits of the online system include:

• Instant feedback on the answers provided, with links to the places in the text where the preferred answer exists;
• A CME Summary page containing the records of the issues submitted for credit, ongoing quizzes, and credits earned;
• Immediate email confirmation of credit earned;
• The ability to complete one issue at a time, as the year progresses, and submit and receive credit confirmation issue by issue.

Expiration of Credit: December 31, 2009 for Volume 8 (2007 publishing year). Credit for completing the 2007 NeoReviews will be awarded for up to 3 years. Credits will be posted the year in which they are submitted.

Verifications of Credit: You will receive an e-mail message verifying the CME credit you have earned through NeoReviews.

CME Credit Deadlines

Credit is posted the year in which the quiz is completed. If you need to earn CME credit for the NeoReviews quizzes in 2007, you must complete each quiz before December 31, 2009. You may earn up to 1.5 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for each issue completed. You do not need to complete all of the issues in order to earn CME credit; you will be given credit only for those issues you choose to complete.

When you have completed all of the quizzes for a particular issue, you must submit the issue for CME credit via the Internet. If you are not sure if you have submitted completed issues for CME credit, you may access your CME Summary page by clicking the "My CME" button on the NeoReviews home page. If you have submitted an issue for CME credit, your CME Summary page will indicate you received up to 1.5 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for that issue.

Issues submitted for CME credit on or before December 31, 2007, will be recorded in 2007. Issues submitted for CME credit on or after January 1, 2008, will be recorded in 2008. Issues submitted for CME credit on or after January 1, 2009, and on or before December 31, 2009, will be recorded in 2009.
