Continuing Medical Education (CME) Information
An Introduction to the NeoReviews Online CME System
NeoReviews includes an online continuing medical education (CME) component, available only to subscribers. Using this system, subscribers can:
- Take the journal quizzes online.
- Receive instant feedback on the answers selected.
- Jump to sections of the source article that contain the preferred response.
- Submit completed issues for CME credit and receive confirmation of credit immediately via email.
- Review credit they've earned in an individualized CME Summary Report.
Important Notes:
- An entire issue must be completed before subscribers can submit quizzes for credit. There is no article-by-article credit.
- This service is only available to subscribers. If you wish to subscribe, please click here.
- Users will have access to only those years for which they have subscribed.

NeoReviews subscribers can complete the quiz for any issue in the current year and receive confirmation of credit immediately. This allows readers to beat the December 31 CME deadline rush!
The benefits of the online system include:
- Instant feedback on the answers provided, with links to the places in the text where the preferred answer exists;
- A CME Summary page containing the records of the issues submitted for credit, ongoing quizzes, and credits earned;
- Immediate email confirmation of credit earned;
- The ability to complete one issue at a time, as the year progresses, and submit and receive credit confirmation issue by issue.
In addition, each month's issue becomes available simultaneously online throughout the world, without the delays that postal delivery can impose.

Expiration of Credit: December 31, 2011, for Volume 10 (2009 publishing year). Credit for completing the 2009 NeoReviews will be awarded for up to 3 years. Credits will be posted the year in which they are submitted.
Verifications of Credit: You will receive an e-mail message verifying the CME credit you have earned through NeoReviews.
CME Credit Deadlines
Credit is posted the year in which the quiz is completed. If you need to earn CME credit for the NeoReviews quizzes in 2009, you must complete each quiz before December 31, 2009. You may earn up to 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for each issue completed. You do not need to complete all of the issues in order to earn CME credit; you will be given credit only for those issues you choose to complete.
Issues submitted for CME credit on or before December 31, 2009, will be recorded in 2009. Issues submitted for CME credit on or after January 1, 2010, will be recorded in 2010. Issues submitted for CME credit on or after January 1, 2011, and on or before December 31, 2011, will be recorded in 2011. Dec. 31, 2011, is the last date to claim credit for the 2009 issues.
